This week, we're bringing you eight opportunities across the B2B events industry, spanning event operations and event sales, from executive level through to senior leadership.

We're also sharing our latest advice for professionals navigating the busy events season while considering their next career move.

Three Ways to Job Hunt When Your Diary Is Full

Events season is currently at its peak, with packed schedules, back-to-back events and what may seem like a never-ending inbox to catch up on; however, many people are also eyeing their next move. So, how do you balance the responsibilities of your current role while also searching for your next one? Here are our top three tips:

  • Be sure the move is right. Before you pour your energy into a search, take a moment to check that leaving is really what you want, and that you’ve explored everything your current workplace could offer. Ask yourself: are there upcoming opportunities for growth in my current role? Have I spoken to my manager about where I’d like my career to go? When each work day is full to the brim, your time is precious, so make sure a new role is truly worth the time you’ll give to finding it.
  • Be selective. Once you know you want to move, focus only on roles you genuinely match. Rather than applying to every role you see, spend the limited time you have crafting strong, relevant applications. When your diary is already full, a handful of thoughtful applications will serve you far better than a long list of rushed ones.
  • Protect time for prep. You deserve to walk into every interview feeling ready, and with peak season leaving little room to spare, that time won’t appear on its own. Blocking it out in your calendar will help you feel more prepared and confident, and less stressed when it comes to the actual interview.

If you’re ready for your next role and to put these three tips into action, you may find the perfect fit in this week’s newsletter.
