To deliver high quality events, you’ll develop a breadth of understanding within a specific industry, and manage all aspects of the project. Key responsibilities of a Conference Producer
Research and analysis
The quality of your conference will depend on the quality of your research. Sound industry research means that you’ll understand important issues and people in the sector. There are many aspects of a conference that require research, such as the conference topics and themes; speakers, sponsors and attendees, to invite; your competitor’s events, and so much more.
Project management
Conference Producers work collaboratively to build relationships and bolster their event’s success. Not only will you act as the face of the event, but you’re also responsible for recruiting high-level industry experts to speak at the conference, and overseeing all marketing material, content, briefing sales and telesales related to your event.
Copywriting
As well as writing the conference agenda, you’re responsible for writing sales-driven promotional material to attract delegates to attend your event. This content will cover key aspects, including:
- An overview of the conference topic, and what participants will gain from attending.
- The Unique Selling Points of your event.
- Event speakers, attendees and sponsors.
