Base salary up to £42K + Commission + Good Benefits


This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious & experienced conference producer with 4+ years experience in commercial conference production to join an established global media & events business. The Conference Portfolio Manager will be responsible for managing & growing a high profile and well respected portfolio of B2B conferences, briefings and events.

  • Production - produce your own events from the portfolio
  • Strategic direction & development of the division
  • Creative development of the portfolio


The Job

You will be responsible for producing, managing and driving an established portfolio of events forward. Your role includes creating the event strategy, people management and P&L responsibility. You & your team will create and deliver profitable events with interesting and creative formats.

Your role will include:

  • New topic generation & research
  • Speaker research & acquisition
  • Creation and development of the event programme
  • Manage, lead and support the conference producers in your division
  • Work alongside marketing & sales to develop the event strategy
  • Ensure the team meets deadlines & budgets
  • Working with internal teams and external departments
  • Onsite on the day
  • Identify and validate new events ideas

The Person


To be considered you will be:

  • A successful conference producer with an impressive track record in commercial conference production with a minimum of 4 years experience in B2B events
  • Ideally you will have worked on both large scale conferences and niche events
  • Successful track record developing existing & launching new events
  • A manager / leader of conference producers, enjoy developing the skills & experience of the next generation
  • Able to display you have successfully taken responsibility for a series or portfolio of commercial B2B events
  • Strong conference production processes and project management skills
  • Self motivated, organised and ambitious professional looking for a challenging next job
