Being able to work abroad outside of school holidays makes travel affordable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf this benefit applied to in-office roles, it could completely change how people view hybrid working.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEmployers must consider visa, tax, and legal implications before introducing it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>What It Means for UK Employers in Events<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For employers in events, conferences, and media, \u201cWork From Anywhere\u201d can be a powerful retention and attraction tool &#8211; but it needs structure.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Here\u2019s what to consider:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Tax &amp; Legal:<\/strong> Understand which countries and durations are low-risk.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Visas:<\/strong> Clarify which destinations are permitted and for how long.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Data Protection:<\/strong> Maintain GDPR compliance and enforce secure working methods.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Insurance &amp; Liability:<\/strong> Ensure coverage extends overseas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Eligibility:<\/strong> Define who qualifies, and how requests are approved.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Communication:<\/strong> Set clear expectations for working hours and availability.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>More Than a Perk &#8211; It\u2019s About Trust<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Even if not, everyone uses it \u201cWork From Anywhere\u201d signals trust, autonomy, and respect for employees\u2019 lives outside work.<\/p>\n<p>For professionals in B2B events, conference production, marketing, sponsorship, and event management, flexibility can be the deciding factor when choosing their next employer.<\/p>\n<p>As one respondent put it perfectly:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt didn\u2019t affect my productivity &#8211;
