{"id":6139,"date":"2022-05-05T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-05-05T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jbrecruitment.eu.applyflow.com\/women-at-workplace\/"},"modified":"2022-05-05T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2022-05-05T00:00:00","slug":"women-at-workplace","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.jbrecruitment.co.uk\/women-at-workplace\/","title":{"rendered":"Women at Workplace"},"content":{"rendered":"<p >\n\t<strong><span >Women at Work<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\n\tIn the response to Deloitte\u2019s Women @ Work 2022 report, it clearly highlights the pandemic continues to take a heavy toll on women, with burnout reaching alarmingly high levels.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe Global report surveyed 5,000 women across 10 countries and sectors to better understand how women\u2019s experiences in the workplace impact their engagement and career progression.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe report surmised the pandemic continues to impact women: burnout, for one, has reached high levels and lots of women have made career and life decisions driven by their experiences during the pandemic\u2014for some this has meant finding new alternative and more flexible working patterns; for others it has meant leaving their employer or the workforce entirely.<\/p>\n<p>\n\tThe report shares 5 key steps employers can take to support women in the workplace.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t1.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Address the burnout epidemic<\/strong> &#8211; Almost half women surveyed feel burned out, and burnout is the top reason why women want to leave their jobs.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t2.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Make mental wellbeing a priority<\/strong> &#8211; over 50% of women reported their stress levels are higher than a year ago, and almost 50% described their mental health as poor\/very poor.<\/p>\n<p>\n\t3.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; <strong>Make flexible working work for women<\/strong> &#8211; 94% of women believed requesting flexible working will affect their chances of promotion.
