Great opportunity for a commercially astute graduate who wants to work for a global media & events company as a conference producer.

The Company

This leading international media & events business have been successfully creating and delivering inspirational B2B Conferences for many years. Growth across the events division has created an opportunity to hire an additional conference producer to work on a varied portfolio of UK & Overseas conferences.

 

The Role

As a Conference Producer within the business you will be responsible for researching, creating and driving the events forward. You will work to agreed production cycles and budget and have a genuine focus on content. You will need to project manage the conferences & events from start to finish.

 

You will focus on developing fresh and innovative programmes with relevant and up to date content to meet the changing needs of the audience, sponsors and speakers. You will be required to keep up to date with the varied industry sectors you work within. Selecting and securing high level speakers which attract paying delegates is key.

 

You will have the opportunity to grow your portfolio and develop new topics for conferences for the future.

 

This conference producer position will involve lots of face to face interaction with speakers and guests at the events.

 

The Person

  • This role will suit a bright, ambitious and commercially minded Graduate with 6-12 months commercial business experience. Ideally your experience is gain from a B2B professional environment such as: conference production, events sales, recruitment, market research etc
  • You will be a graduate with a 2:1 or 1st degree
  • You will have excellent research and analysis skills
  • Have excellent written and spoken English communication skills
  • You will be highly organised, an excellent time manager who can achieve the production of quality events in the agreed time lines.
  • This role has lots of face to face interaction with internal team members and external stakeholders, therefore you will need to enjoy and be confident networking and presenting.
  • You will be disciplined to plan, organise and complete your desk based research.
  • A flair for articulate and creative writing is essential for this position.
