We are excited to be recruiting a new Conference Producer into a world leading business.  This events, media & intelligence business create & deliver a mix of events from small to very large-scale conferences & training courses across a broad range of industries from Tech to Tax. The Job

As a conference producer within this business you will be responsible for researching and producing a variety of conferences & training course across a range of business areas (broadly legal). The division is growing rapidly, creating lots of long-term career opportunities.


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Desk based research i.e. reading & talking over the phone with market experts – telephone research is a critical element of the role
  • Analysing information you have researched and extracting the relevant details
  • Communicating with senior business professionals; primarily over the phone, or via email, in meetings or at events
  • Creating & writing enticing agendas, programmes and marketing copy
  • Finding, securing and managing the speakers for your events
  • Working as part of a team to deliver the event
  • Project management of the events
  • Attending the event on the day
  • Become a specialist in your sector, really understanding the industry
  • Developing your events portfolio, create new ideas for events and take responsibility for the overall success & growth of your portfolio


The Person

For this Conference Producer position, we are looking for an entrepreneurial, intelligent, positive and hardworking graduate. A professional with at least one year in a commercial role such as: recruitment, sales, account management, research or you may already be an ambitious conference producer looking for a fresh challenge within a corporate organisation.


The ideal candidate for this position will be:

  • A graduate with a 2:1 degree or above
  • Experienced in commercial business (min 1 year)
  • Financially motivated and driven to achieve
  • An expert at multitasking and have excellent organisation skills
  • Superb at time management, organisational and project management
  • Comfortable meeting and talking over the phone with very senior business professionals
  • A brilliant communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to pick up new information and ideas swiftly
  • Inquisitive and ambitious
