Salary up to £40K + Bonus + 25 days holiday + benefits


Our client is a well-established internationally recognised media, training & events business who work within the tech industry. They have been successfully creating industry leading conferences and exhibitions for the past 10 years. An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced conference producer to step into a Portfolio Manager role and producer a series of high growth small & large scale Technology Conferences & Exhibitions.


The job

As a Portfolio Manager you will be responsible for the production, project management and expansion of a portfolio of small & large scale conferences & events which are delivered across Europe and the Middle East. These commercial events attract senior tech professionals, blue chip sponsors and an international audience. The agendas are content rich and have engaging & innovative formats.

  • Research and Programme Development
  • Speaker Acquisition and Management
  • Copywriting
  • Deadline Management
  • Topic generation and validation
  • Events development and launch opportunities
  • Mentor & support more junior members of the team
  • Working as part of the events team
  • Onsite Event Management


The person

We are looking for a successful & ambitious conference producer with a credible track record of success producing, growing & delivering commercial conferences. A commercially minded, content focused producer who can lead a portfolio of high value & evolving conferences and continue to drive their success with energy and creativity.

  • University educated, 2:1 or above
  • At least 2+ years B2B commercial conference production experience
  • Experience of producing large scale B2B events
  • Experience producing events which are held overseas
  • Interest in the evolving world of Technology
  • Outstanding time management & organisational skills - Ability to effectively & calmly manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Exceptional writing, attention to detail and proof-reading skills
  • Approachable & positive and able to lead & direct the event and the team
  • Able to work as part of a team but take responsibility for the production of your events
  • Happy to attend the events therefore have overseas travel included in your job
