WORK REMOTELY

Generous base salary & Uncapped Commission OTE £80K+

 

Working remotely the Sponsorship Sales Manager will take responsibility for creating & delivering the sales strategy for a portfolio of European B2B Conferences & Events. We are looking for an experienced sponsorship sales professional with a stable & proven track record of success in B2B sponsorship sales who can grow sponsorship revenues and develop new clients.

 

The company

You will be joining an established and growing global events business who have developed a successful portfolio of international tech events attended by ‘C’ level professionals, supported by high profile sponsors and industry leading speakers. This company has created efficient internal systems which facilitate the entire team (50+ sales, production, marketing & operations professionals) to work successfully from remote locations around the world. The European division is looking to expand their sales team and we are ideally looking for an experienced European based sponsorship sales professional to join the business.

 

The role:

The Sponsorship Sales Manager is responsible for growing sponsorship and exhibition revenues across the European event portfolio. You will work with high profile international clients who you are encouraged to meet whenever possible. This position has the potential to move into a leadership role in the near future (if team management is of interest).

 

We are looking for a natural relationship builder, solid sales professional and an excellent communicator for this role. A sponsorship sales professional who can build strong connections with senior decision makers in high profile organisations.

 

The person

  • You will have a successful & stable background in sponsorship sales, at least 3 years experience working for a commercial events business identifying & selling sponsorship opportunities for B2B events.
  • Exemplary, selling skills especially around new business development & client account management
  • Proven track record of consistent achievement of personal targets
  • Able to deliver a professional, consultative sales approach
  • Self motivated, driven and an entrepreneurial approach to sales
    Excellent English communication skills – written & spoken, additional language advantageous
  • Can identify & execute new opportunities for sales revenue growth
  • Successfully collaborate with the team to deliver industry leading events
  • Tenacious, determined and committed
  • Commercial thinker
  • Organised, excellent time management and able to meet deadlines calmly
  • Able to be successful when working remotely.
