A great career opportunity for an experienced conference producer with at least 2 years event production experience, looking to join a global corporate conference & events business. This position would suit an experienced Conference Producer looking for a role which offers the opportunity to create high quality, large scale conferences.


The role: The Senior Conference Producer will have responsibility the production of large scale established B2B technology events. With specific responsibility for:

  • Research & analysis of the best conference topics & programme
  • Take the strategic lead on your events
  • Develop your business knowledge, understanding and relationships with key industry professionals
  • Grow & develop the conferences through the creation of innovative formats, recruiting excellent speakers and great team working
  • Create high quality, commercial, profitable and marketing leading events 
  • Attend relevant industry and competitor events
  • Work with associations /create advisory board when necessary
  • Create the website copy, marketing and other promotional material
  • Work alongside the social media team to design & deliver promotional campaigns via LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
  • Working with the marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure the event reaches the right audience and achieved its revenue targets
  • Attend the conference on the day
  • Develop new launch opportunities
  • Post events analyse and report findings


The person: To be considered for this senior conference producer role you will need experience managing the entire conference production process. Ideally, you will have:

  • A 2:1 or 1st degree / MA
  • Minimum of 2 years experience as a commercial conference producer
  • Excellent research & analysis skills
  • Superb speaker acquisition skills
  • Experience of managing budgets
  • Interest in technology
  • Experience of large scale complex events
  • Creative, commercial, business orientated nature
  • Self-motivation, drive and enthusiasm
  • Excellent time management & organisational skills
  • Great copywriting skills
  • Confidence when picking up the phone to talk with senior business professionals
  • Ability to take responsibility

This role is not an event organiser, here you will be researching, analysing, developing creative & inspiring event content & programmes, with enticing speaker line-ups and formats. This job will require you to travel within the UK and overseas.
