We are recruiting for a number of exciting Conference Producer positions with our clients based in London, Berkshire, Middlesex & Singapore.


For these positions we are looking for graduate entry level candidates from a commercial b2b background such as recruitment, media, marketing etc and existing conference producers with up to 1 year of experience.


The companies we are hiring for are all different in terms of size, culture, event formats / topics but they are all growing businesses with successful track records.


Most of these conference producer positions offer overseas travel as part of the job which is a great bonus and they all offer a good base salary & bonus (share of the profit of the event) plus between 22-25 days holiday.


The industries we have conference producer jobs available include; telecoms, finance, insurance, tech, security, marketing, energy, pharma. You would produce conferences for one of these sectors and outside of Pharma you experience/knowledge of these industries is not required.


What will you be doing?

Briefly; you would be responsible for researching the market, identifying insightful topics and producing commercially engaging conferences. This incorporates creating an engaging agenda with hot topics, picking up the phone to secure top-level speakers which will attract senior level attendees, project managing the event thus working with internal marketing, sales and operations teams to ensure the event meets its aims, objectives, revenue targets and deadlines. It’s a busy & varied job.


What are our clients looking for?

Bright graduates who have interesting backgrounds & achievements. Excellent research, communication, organisation, time management and commercial business skills.


Our clients prefer you to have work experience gained in a business / office environment and the following transferable skills:

  • Phone based communication - are confident calling people you don’t know?
  • Office based – are you comfortable working in an office environment?
  • Independent working – are you able to get on with tasks?
  • Responsibility – are you enthused when given the autonomy to take responsibility?


What’s essential?

You must:

  • want to work for a commercial business
  • be focused on working in events
  • be a creative people person, someone with ideas and innovative suggestions to improve your events. Be able to spot opportunities and act professionally to develop these
  • be comfortable with responsibility & pressure and cope when managing multiple tasks which need completing within a deadline
  • have a determined attitude to see projects through to completion (even when it gets tough!)
