Based in London + Travel

Salary: Up to £35k base + £20k bonus + 25 days holiday


Drive & secure revenue across a portfolio of financial Services conferences.


This global leader in B2B events work across a multitude of industry sectors from Tech to Law, they have a network of international offices and are recognised as a provider of high value senior level conferences, exhibitions and business events. This Sponsorship Sales Manager position will sit within the team who create & deliver insightful financial services conferences. Your role will be to generate revenue from identifying & securing sponsors for the events.



The Job

  • Work closely with the producer to identify appropriate conferences, target markets and generate leads.
  • Business development and relationship building with existing & new clients.
  • Work as a "consultant" - to better understand clients' business objectives and needs
  • Work to agreed targets and deadlines for events
  • Draft all sales contracts and proposals
  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly reports as required
  • Take responsibility for the account management of your clients & sales
  • You will need to demonstrate the ability to influence high level decision makers
  • This role offers a mix of office based sales (75%) and face to face (25%) meetings
  • You will need to be self motivated and able to manage your time and work load effectively.


The Person

  • Educated to degree level ideally
  • At least 1-2 years B2B sponsorship sales experience
  • You will be able to write and present yourself confidently to Clients 
  • You will be ambitious and hungry for success
  • Excellent communication skills, face to face and over the phone
  • Excellent at developing business relationships and understanding client needs
