Based in London + Travel required

Basic Salary up to £27,000 + Uncapped Commission + Benefits


This role would suit a graduate with B2B sales experience who is keen to work for a growing media & events company. The events are within the telecommunications space and require the expertise of an experienced B2B sales person to maximise the sponsorship revenue potential for each event.

This organisation has been established over 15 years and is expanding the events element of their business with the hire of an additional business development manager. This business offer excellent training, the opportunity to work on high profile international events and strong internal support systems.


The role

The business development manager will focus on selling sponsorship opportunities for successful established events and industry leading launch events. You will be pitching events which attract big audiences and high level speakers to corporate blue chip companies.

Your role will be to manage & develop existing client accounts and identify & secure new business opportunities. The events within your portfolio have huge growth potential offering great opportunity for you to generate high sales revenue and meet agreed sales targets.


The person

  • To be considered for this role you will be a graduate with a 2:1 or 1st degree looking to further develop your B2B sales career.
  • Ideally, you will have around 1 years B2B sales experience - events, recruitment, media or IT sales are great environments to transfer from.
  • You will be a high performing sales person - you will have a proven track record of achieving & exceeding targets
  • Be a consultative solution provider, able to manage complex sales solutions
  • Professional, articulate and adaptable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self motivated and resilient
  • Able to work as part of a team and contribute to the overall growth of the division
  • Commercially minded & ambitious to grow a portfolio and develop a long term career in sales.
