Based in London + Travel

Basic Salary up to £30,000 + Generous Uncapped Commission


An opportunity for an exceptional sales professional to join an industry leading telecoms media and events business. This respected brand have been successfully delivering insight and information to the telecoms industry for 10 years.


The Business Development Manager position will focus on sponsorship & exhibition sales for a varied portfolio of telecoms events, which may include; Awards, B2B conferences, business briefing and webinar sessions.


The role:

As a Business Development Manager within this global conference organisation you will be responsible for driving sponsorship revenue across events with both existing and new clients. This role is a mix of phone based sales and the opportunity to arrange face to face sales meetings, therefore some international travel is required. You will be involved with the sale of high value and often complex sponsorship packages to senior level contacts in blue chip international business organisations.


The person:

You will be a graduate with a good 2:1 degree and have relevant and transferable sales & business development experience and an interest in the telco industry. What is essential is that you are confident and motivated to pick up the phone to potential senior level clients and independently manage the sales process from start to finish.


You will be a bright, articulate and driven sales professional who is focused on developing a career within the events and media sector. We are looking to hear from individuals who are:
