Base salary up to £30K + £20K Commission package + Benefits


We are looking for an experienced Delegate Sales Executive to join a global conference business. You will have the opportunity to sell delegate tickets for established, high profile flagship events.

The client

Our client is a global information & business intelligence company, they provide business news, data, analysis, marketing solutions and events to their clients. They have a great team in London who are looking to expand the sales division through the hire of a Delegate Sales manager.


The role

This position is perfect for an ambitious and successful B2B Delegate Sales Executive who is looking for their next career step. The role will suit a candidate who can work confidently with senior decision makers and manage multiple events concurrently. The position will work across some of the organisations most established and high profile conferences and awards ceremonies. You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and securing paying delegates for large scale international conferences
  • Researching and understanding the industry sectors you are covering
  • Selling features & benefits of each event to delegates
  • Building a network and generating new leads
  • Cross selling across other company events
  • Updating the CRM system
  • Working as part of a team
  • Achieving your targets and meeting deadlines

The person:

  • A successful background in delegate sales is essential for this role and you must be looking to grow your career within a commercial conference & awards business
  • You will be a graduate with a 2:1 or 1st degree
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
  • Confidence on the phone talking to senior level executives
  • Ability to prioritise task and organise time efficiently
  • Ambitious to succeed - constantly achieve targets and meet deadlines
  • Self-motivated, team player and driven
  • Love learning new information and a naturally inquisitive nature
