Salary up to £35K + Uncapped Commission

 

This role will be 70% new business and you will be generating sponsorship revenue through the introduction of new clients to established international events.

 

The job

As a new business sponsorship sales executive you will be required to generate revenues streams from new clients. You will be selling high value sponsorship packages for 4 main B2B tech events. To be successful in this role you must enjoy researching & securing new business, developing relationships with senior level decision makers and closing sales.

 

Responsibilities:

  • conduct consultative international sales calls with a view to closing high value deals
  • selling in a consultative & professional manner to key decision makers / C level contacts in corporate organisations
  • working with a portfolio of established and highly regarded events
  • develop and maintain long-term business relationships with new and existing international clients
  • New Business – identify and secure new clients to sponsor the events.
  • You will also be required to identify & capitalise on new opportunities to generate revenue
  • You will be working with a strong and ambitious team to achieve and exceed your revenue targets

 

Your Experience

You will be passionate about developing your sales career and focused on developing new business opportunities:

  • You will have 2-3 years commercial business to business sales experience, ideally from a sponsorship sales background but recruitment, IT Sales or Advertising sales backgrounds will be considered. What is important is you have a stable and successful track record in sales.
  • You must be a strong new business developer, enjoy picking up the phone, networking and closing sales.
  • Your experience will include the ability to effectively research, develop new business, manage & grow client accounts.
  • Excellent communication skills – both over the phone and face to face
  • Ability to understand and assess client business needs and swiftly be able to develop creative solutions to meet their needs
  • You will be used to working to targets, deadlines and as part of a team
  • Ambitious, articulate and creative
  • Good working knowledge of sales, the sales process and new business development
  • Excellent work ethic and resilience
  • Ability to build relationships with senior level external partners
  • Strong business acumen
