Salary £35K + Uncapped Commission

Are you an established sponsorship sales professional looking for a new career challenge within a supportive, stable & growing commercial events business? Would you like to be part of a new team launching a high profile large scale event and be part of the sales strategy?

We have been asked to recruit an experienced conference sponsorship sales manager to join a global events business within a new team who are launching a large scale B2B event.

The role

You will be responsible for selling sponsorship opportunities for a new large scale conference & exhibition. This will involve working closely with the production team to create a successful sales strategy for the new event.

Your role will involve identifying potential sponsors, business development, meeting clients, creating opportunities, managing the sales process and closing sales.

The environment is creative, relationship driven and professional. The position offers lots of autonomy, few KPI’s and an opportunity to work on the sales strategy with the team.

The person

We are looking for an ambitious & highly successful B2B sales professional for this position.  You will need to be confident developing long term business relationships, enjoy meeting clients, understands the sales process, take on responsibility for delivering projects and importantly, enjoy working on high level complex sales processes.

Experience working on large scale B2B conferences would be advantageous but not essential.

To be considered you will need 2 – 3 years business development sales experience ideally in events. A track record of achieving & exceeding targets is a must.
