Salary up to £25K + Profit Share

Based in London + Travel


We are recruiting a conference producer to join a well established global events business with a rich history of success in the creation of market leading global business events


This position will suit an ambitious and commercially astute graduate with 6-12 months business experience gained in an environment such as; market research, recruitment or perhaps events sales. This is a great opportunity to develop a long term career in the creation & delivery of business focused events within a fast paced, high profile conference company.


The role

The conference producer will bring together leading names within the industry and create a platform for information to be shared, discussed and networking to take place.


As a conference producer you will be creating approx. 6 B2B events each year; some will be new launch events and other existing event which you will develop. You will focus on events in one or two sectors; currently they deliver cutting edge information within the fraud, compliance, HR, tech, healthcare and energy communities. You will be required to attract an audience of managers, directors and decision makers within the relevant business community. The event will partner & develop relationships with international or local corporate sponsors.


Information is brought to life through varied event formats such as; traditional conferences, global summits, niche forums and award ceremonies. As a conference producer you will lead the way in identifying the most relevant & insightful information in the most appropriate event format & engaging agenda. You will be responsible for securing the best possible speakers at the events who will share their knowledge and business insight.


The person

  • Educated to degree level
  • Confident working in a commercial business environment - 6-12 months work experience as a recruiter, researcher, event sales or similar background would be great
  • Proven research skills; able to process, analyse and communicate new information swiftly
  • This job has face to face interaction with internal and external contacts and lots of phone based communication therefore, you need to enjoy and be confident interacting & communicating with others.
  • You need to be strong at planning & organising
  • Creative & engaging writing skills are essential
  • Able to agree and achieve deadlines and targets
  • You will be team orientated and commercially minded with great business acumen.
  • Successful team working skills are essential, also the ability to self motivate and complete individual goals.
  • Resilience, drive and ambition required
